1 Day Trip to Jinja – Source of River Nile
A full-day trip from Kampala to Jinja takes you through Namawojolo (famous for roasted meat and quick eats), Mabira Forest — East Africa’s largest forest — and on to the source of the River Nile, discovered by John Hanning Speke in 1857. Enjoy craft shops, the Speke and Mahatma Gandhi monuments, and the Kisoga dance (Tamenaibuga).
